I’m Johanna

Hi, I’m glad you found me and landed on this page. My name is Johanna and I am a photographer for weddings and couples in Germany and all over the world. I love accompanying my couples on their big day – no matter where – and capturing all the excitement and magical moments for them and for YOU. And since I love traveling as much as I love my job, I’ve now specialized in weddings abroad – so-called destination weddings. Yes, you heard right… I’m the one who travels around the world with and for your love.
Whether it’s Spain, Tuscany, or Greece, no distance is too far for me to capture your love. I can already picture it: you finally celebrating, dancing, and laughing together with your families and friends in the warm summer air, and
me capturing all these moments, big and small, for and with you. Because that’s what matters: you and your love. It doesn’t matter where we are on this earth. With my attention to detail, I want to capture these wonderful experiences for and with you, because it is particularly important to me that you celebrate your day exactly as you imagined it. The little moments that give you butterflies in your stomach and the big moments that you never want to forget. I want to offer you all that and so much more. With a great love for 35mm film photography and Super 8 films, I offer an unforgettable highlight.

how it works

You’ve booked me:
YEAH…I’m so excited to be part of your destination wedding. With all my experience from 5 years of self-employment as a wedding photographer, I’m
here to help and support you in any way I can. With my concept, we’ll capture your wishes exactly and make sure the day goes just as you imagine it.

Get together

The general day of your destination wedding:
On the day of your destination wedding, I will be on site to capture all the big and small moments for you. My accompaniment on the day usually amounts to 10 hours.
Here I can tell you that everything is covered. From getting ready in the
morning to the party in the evening.

Getting Ready:
I start my coverage with your getting ready. That means when the day begins and you slowly get ready. The exciting emotions before it really gets going are unforgettable. Above all, you’ll be able to see afterwards what the other person was doing, and you won’t believe how beautiful that is. Just make sure your rooms are tidy and there isn’t too much stuff lying around.

Wedding ceremony:
And then it’s on to your wedding ceremony. The most emotional part of your wedding. Perhaps under palm trees or even on the beach? Just the way you like it. I work with two cameras and different lenses
to capture this part of your wedding exactly as it was, so that you can cherish these moments and memories forever. For that special artistic touch, I also work with analog cameras and Super 8 film cameras.

Reception:
While you relax with your guests after the wedding ceremony and sip on an aperitif or two, I mingle with the guests and capture all the big and small moments for you with my camera. You won’t even notice I’m there, so I can provide you with completely unposed and natural pictures.

Couple photos:
And this is exactly where we take the first couple photos for you. While your guests continue to relax, we take a walk together and you can enjoy some time alone.

Dinner:
During dinner and the speeches, emotions really run high. I love these moments and can’t wait to capture them for you. A little reminder here… please remember that as your photographer, I also need to be provided with food for 5 hours or more. Of course, it doesn’t have to be the same menu that you and your guests are served. If you have a planner, please mention this to them again—they know about this part—and food will also be provided for all other service providers present.

Party:
And now you can really let loose and celebrate. No matter how you open the dance floor—I’m in! And no, I don’t need to photograph the party for three hours. In my experience, the first 30 minutes on the dance floor, when everyone has had a chance to dance, are usually enough. But that’s exactly what makes for the perfect ending to your reportage. That way, you’ll have captured your big destination wedding from start to finish.

After your wedding:
After your wedding, I will send you all the photos that tell the story of your big day. You will receive around 800 photos in an online gallery—all within approximately six weeks.

Whether at your venue, at a beach bar, or in a restaurant… it’s the interpersonal relationships that count and what matters here. Coupled with a wonderful location abroad, it couldn’t be better! The first speeches, a relaxed get-together, good food under the starry sky or fairy lights – and in the background you can hear the waves crashing.
Could you imagine a better start to your destination wedding? Neither could I! And that’s why I can’t wait to start these wonderful days with you.

Wedding Day

And now it really begins. I will be by your side throughout the entire day, capturing all the big and small moments for you—and doing so almost invisibly. This way, I can guarantee you natural and completely unposed photos that show your day as it was: full of emotions from getting ready to the party.
An emotional wedding ceremony that moves everyone to tears, a dinner on a warm summer night, and a lively party. I am at your side and am always there to support you with my experience. And do you know what the best thing is? No one is rushed, everyone starts the day relaxed – no one is a stranger, because everyone already got to know each other the day before at your get-together.

After Wedding Session
